IMS Creators now have FACES!

Celebrate the New Year with an update! As promised, here's a New Year's surprise! 🎁 We've added features that will make you recognizable in the community and make it easier to share your work. It's the best New Year's gift for indie developers! Let's unbox it!

Step 1: Upload your avatar

Start with the simplest thing: add an avatar to your profile. It's not just pretty; it's essential for your team.

Action plan:

  1. Go to "Personal data" via the left menu
  2. Click the "Select file" button next to "Avatar"
  3. Upload your photo or any image (1:1).

With an avatar, people immediately recognize you — whether they've written a comment, created a task, or changed something in a project. A profile with a photo looks very respectable. In addition, in a team of 5-10 people, it's much easier to recognize each other by avatar.

Step 2: Create a public author page – tell us about yourself

This is the most powerful feature of the update. Your author page is your showcase in the community.

To create a page, go to the "My Page" section, add a description, social media links, and a background. Then click "Create".

That's it! Once your profile is complete, other developers know how to address you and can contact you directly if they're interested in your work. In addition, a complete profile shows that you're serious about your work.

Let's see what we've got! Click "Open Page." If you need to change anything, click "Edit".

Step 3: Admire yourself from all sides

The system will automatically collect all your public projects, posts, game collections, and game jams.

What will be on the page:

  • Your name and profile picture in the header
  • The ability to subscribe and see your follower count
  • Links to social media (if added)
  • Brief description (who you are, what you do)
  • Your public posts
  • Game collections where you are the creator of the collection or the game project included in the collection
  • Game jams where you are the organizer or participant
  • All your public projects with previews, descriptions, and screenshots

What does this mean for you? You'll get your own portfolio page, which acts as a resume and helps people find you through search. Your projects are visible not only within IMS but also externally — people can share your link with their friends. If you're looking to sell games, subscriptions, or are looking for investors, an author page will definitely come in handy. In addition, you'll become visible in the IMS Creators community.

Goodbye, 2025! Thank you for being with us all year. And in 2026, we'll welcome new updates, new ideas, and new opportunities for your games.
