Interface Improvements Based on Your Requests

We believe the best ideas are born from dialogue. Your feedback is the paint that helps us picture the future of our updates. Thank you for your ideas! We were happy to implement some of them in this release.

Text Editor Improvements:

  • Added the ability to choose the syntax highlighting language for a code block.
  • When inserting a link, the focus now immediately moves to the link input field.

Data Management Improvements:

  • Convenient switching between custom fields in the "Properties Table" block.
  • When adding a new item to a value list, the list now automatically expands, and the search bar is activated.
  • Syntax highlighting for data transformation code input during synchronization with a local project.
  • The ability to add sub-type collection folders inside collections (e.g., add an "Attack Abilities" collection inside the "Abilities" collection).
  • Now you can create collections not only for custom elements but also for basic ones like "Level," "Scenario," etc.
  • Fixed the ordering of collections within the project tree.
  • Fixed the behavior of the games table in game collections and game jams.

Level Editor Improvements:

  • Copying and pasting objects.
  • Added the ability to paste text.

Dialogue Editor Improvements:

  • Copying and pasting nodes.
  • Nodes now automatically snap into place when a new node is added between a variable and a value.

Task Management Improvements:

  • In the "Planning" section, items with task lists now immediately show their completion percentage.
  • Added a search bar to task lists.
  • Fixed the search function when attaching an existing task from the board to a task list item.
  • Added a more obvious button for removing a task's deadline date.
  • Fixed the cover selection field when the selected file has a very long name.
  • A bright dot now appears on the button to navigate to task comments if there are new unread comments.

Other Improvements

  • When creating a project, added the option to create an "Empty" project, skipping the starter template.
  • You can now use a simpler address to link to your projects: imsc.space instead of ims.cr5.space.
