Rights and roles
Working in a team allows you to quickly cope with tasks. At the same time, it is very important that each participant plays their role and does not interfere with others. Now in IMS Creators, the team admin can manage roles, as well as their available rights!
To create a new role, go to the “Settings” tab -> “Rights and roles” and click the “Add role” button.
A dialog box will open where you need to enter the name of the new role (for example, developer, scriptwriter, artist or anyone else 😉). It is also suggested to set the default role. If you set the default role, then all new project participants will have this role.
After that, you will immediately be prompted to specify which sections will be available to the participant with this role.
You can change access to project sections by clicking on the “Configure access” button. You can change the name of the role or delete it by clicking 3 dots to the right of the role. Enjoy using it)
Interface improvements
The left menu has been transformed and has become incredibly convenient. What has changed?
- Added captions to menu sections.
- The discussion section has moved down, giving way to tasks.
- Clicking on the logo takes you to the main page.
- The “Create task” button has been added to the task menu, next to which is the “Create board” button.
Editor improvements
In this update, we made friends with Figma and Miro, because with true friends you can move mountains) At least you can definitely develop a game 😀
Meet the update to the “Embedded Document” block: now you can add Miro and Figma projects. When you click on the “Add block” button, a dialog will open where you need to enter a link to the service:
IMS Creators will guess which service you will need to work with and create the necessary block.
History of changes
After a long break, it is very difficult to remember where you stopped? Now the problem will no longer arise! The main thing is to remember the path) In the left menu "Changes". You can click on the element and continue working from where you stopped)
The revision history is a great solution if participants need to know what changes were made.
Other improvements
- Improved sending of notifications when changing tasks: now more parameters are tracked, in addition, if you accidentally change a task setting and then immediately return the old value, the notification will not be sent.\
- Restored display of new notifications in the system
- Fixed search in the game design section of the document
- Now when activating blocks, all controls are shown
- Assigning a short link works without errors)
- Import and export of the project have been moved to “Settings”
- Fixed changing the settings for email notifications in the profile
- Now a notification is sent to the email when a post receives likes. You can disable it in the profile settings
- The gallery in posts is now always visible immediately without a spoiler
- Uploading of the project logo is limited to the extensions .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .webp and .gif
- Added notifications to the author of the collection when receiving a request to add a game
